39/52 - two little dolls and one green puppy

Lily

A rare quiet moment for a girl excited to join in on yet another lovely birthday party. If she attended a party every single day of her little sweet life, I think it would still not be enough for this social butterfly!

Celebrating the birthdays of some sweet little twin friends - the face-painting was the icing on the cake.

Eli

The Little (Green?!) Dog

Killing me with the cuteness. He was super proud of his new look ;)

Miles

Two little dolls taking a bath!

Lily and I were both bathing our babies this evening. One baby was a little lot more splashy than the other....

PS I would be remiss if I did not formally introduce Lily's doll, her name is Baby Susan. She is greatly loved.

Project 52: A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.

More highlights from the week that was...

The kids took it upon themselves to clean up the crumbs after their meal. I did not complain about that!
So cute seeing them work together... Lily swept the crumbs into a pile for Eli to zip up in the dustbuster!

If I wasn't so lazy, I would dig out some (rare) baby photos of myself to compare... but Miles looks SO much like me
as a baby in these bath shots! It is strange but he is my first kid I can really see myself in!

Little Golden Twinkle Toes.... The fairy skirt newly gifted from her generous Nana (2nd hand) was way too big... but not to be deterred from wearing it, Lily simply wore another fairy skirt underneath to hold it up!! Determined and filled with ingenuity, that kid :)

This kid has a thousand funny faces. I love 'em all! And must therefore share every one... (or a selection at least).

I'm a real doggy!

'Surprised Dog'
Btw - who remembers Mountain Boots from the 90's!?? So cool then - even cooler now ;)

Baby Blues (and Green!)

Nothing cuter than a baby-wearing Daddy (with sleeping baby!)

This train is speeding out of control!

Miles of Smiles and Toothy Pegs

Bundling up Miles to do the school pick up run. The look he is giving
clearly says 'Mum, you brought me back from sunny QLD for this weather?!'

  3. What great shots Kate! Look at you, you even got in a super cool panning action shot! Clever lady :)
I love all of Eli's puppy/funny faces shots. Especially the surprised doh one - he does that face so well!
How funny that Lily came up with a solution so she could wear the new skirt. You've got to give it to her, she's got initiative! Totally gorgeous too :)
All wonderful shots this week kate. Oh and Miles' bath shots - how can I forget them? So sweet and yes I can see you in Miles :)
