I've slowly been sorting and culling my ridiculously packed-out wardrobe. I must be nesting already, ha ha, but it's stuffed capacity has been driving me crazy!! I have gotten rid of quite a bit but was stuck on a couple of t-shirts with sentimental value. One of which was this little t-shirt I got at the Tulsa Soul-Winning Workshop in America (anyone? anyone? Bueller?), when I was in that phase of buying cute kid's tees to wear when I was in my late teens/early 20's. Please tell me I'm not the only one who did this?! Cough, cough.
Aaaaaanyway, I knew it's time had long passed me by but was struggling to part with it when I realised, hey, I actually have
kids who could be wearing this! Well, they are still too small to wear it properly, but my little T could be a rockin' nightie for Lily....
And so it was....

'Lil slugger for Jesus'
She thought it was the funniest thing ever to be wearing Mummy's top! |

Of course Eli then wanted to wear a special shirt like Lily...
so we dug up another old one! |

Being goofs... as usual! |
I did that with shirts too. Probably should not have, in retrospect ;) Looks like your kiddos had a great time playing dressup (and hamming it up for the cameras, too.)
ReplyDeleteYou are the only one who ever did this. Apart from Erin ;)
ReplyDeleteI, like Lily, preferred oversized T's/nighties. Actually I do have a child's scarf that I bought from a very posh Scottish cashmere store when I couldn't afford a grown-up one. I used to wear it like a cravat, but a small person recently inherited it. :)
